Best Friends...

The other day Hannah brought me a picture Kyle had made for her.  She brought it to me and said, "Mommy, what does it say?"  Kyle had written, To Hannah:  You are my best friend ever.

I thought it was so sweet!

What do you want to be?

Lastnight driving home here was the conversation going on...

Kyle: "Hannah, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Hannah: "I don't know."

Me: "Well, Kyle, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Kyle: "Well, you know that movie store in Newburgh? I want to work there because it's never
that busy!"

My Sweet Thing!!

Tonight I was snuggling on the couch with Sadie and said, "Sadie, you are the sweetest thing!" Hannah snapped back at me, "No, I'M the sweetest thing!"

Growing Up

Kyle: "Mommy, guess what I'm going to be when I grow up?" "I'm going to be a construction worker. Look, I'm building things right now."

Hannah: "Well, when I grow up I'm going to be a kitty-cat."

Kyle: "Hannah, you can't be a kitty-cat! You can't grow whiskers!

Kyle: "Besides you have to get a job, unless you just want to stay home all day."

Did she really just ask me that?

Lastnight I was sitting in the living room and Hannah came in and turned her hip around looking at her butt and asked me, "Mommy, do these pants make my butt look big?" I started cracking up!!

I asked her where she heard that. Kyle told me she had heard it on tv. That girl makes me laugh.

Oh Ya....

I definitely have to start posting again to this because I was just reading back through the postings I have posted. I had forgotten all about the Twilight post I did that Kyle said in Mass. It had me cracking up all over again. I would've forgotten that if I hadn't journaled it in this way.

Okay...

So, I thought I would be better at posting things to this blog than I have, after all, my kids crack me up with the things they say EVERY day! So, I'm going to try and do better.



As I sit here I hear Hannah say to her brother. "So, I think Sadie is going to be a doctor when she grows up".
